This has to do with how rare a color is, and there are exceptions to these, like a chestnut friesian. This list is how it is usually

One of the following genes: Crcr, Chch, Dd: +$500
(So a Crcr Dd horse is +$1000)
One of the following genes: CrCr, ChCh, DD, Ff, Zz, Pp: +$1000
(So a Crcr, DD horse is +$1500)
One of The following genes: PP, ff, ZZ: +$2000

Markings:
This too has to do with how rare it is for that breed, so a T+ paint horse doesn't get a bonus whereas a T+ trakehner does
